Job Opening - Director of Utility Operations

The City of Priest River has one opening for the full-time position of Director of Utility Operations. Position pays $31.72/hour to $33.66/hour DOE. Benefits include medical, dental, employee assistance program, PERSI retirement plan, and up to 3% 401(k) match. Street Improvements
7/7/2023
On Monday, July 10, the city has scheduled improvements to High Street, Main Street, and Tenth Street. High Street will be closed from Treat Street to Wisconsin Street, and Main Street will be closed from Highway 2 to Montgomery Street. Please expect parking challenges downtown during this time. Parking is always available in the city-owned parking lot behind AJ’s Café, and the parking lot at the Sherman-Campbell Funeral Home (unless a funeral is scheduled). Tenth Street is scheduled to be improved from West Jefferson Avenue to West Beardmore Avenue. Thank you for your patience during this process.

Mayor Vacancy

The City of Priest River is currently accepting letters of interest from qualified electors for the vacant position of Mayor. The appointed person will hold the position until the next city election, when the position will be up for a 4-year term. Idaho Code 50-402(c) describes a qualified elector as a person who is at least eighteen (18) years of age, a United States citizen, who has resided in the city at least thirty (30) days, and who is registered to vote. Letters of interest should be submitted to City Clerk/Treasurer Laurel Thomas no later than 5:00 pm on November 30, 2022.
