Public Works

Public Works employees are responsible for the operation and maintenance of the street, water, and wastewater departments and all city-owned parks, facilities, and vehicles/equipment. 

The Street Department is charged with maintaining the surface transportation system including the stormwater system. The department maintains approximately 13 miles of roadway.

The Water Department serves approximately 1,025 services and is comprised of water treatment, distribution, and storage operations.

The Wastewater Department serves approximately 890 services and is comprised of wastewater collection, treatment, and disposal. 

The Parks & Facilities Department maintains the city's 5 beautiful parks and all city-owned facilities.
