City Park Playground Improvement Project

Future City Park Playground Equipment

PHASE I - FULLY FUNDED: $79,655.00

PHASE II - GOAL: $117,980.00

PHASE II - FUNDS AS OF 10/01/25: $9,493.16

Great news! We have successfully funded Phase I of our City Park playground renovation! Thanks to the overwhelming support from the community and the City of Priest River, the design is finalized, and we're ready to bring our vision for a new, inclusive playground to life. Our children can look forward to enjoying an amazing 50-foot double-track zip line, a 3-bay swing set, a merry-go-round, an overhead spinning disk, an obstacle course, and a dedicated toddler play structure coming in Summer 2026. These new features will cover more than 50% of the playground surface, giving our kids new ways to learn, play, grow and it will be ADA accessible.

We are now launching Phase II of our fundraising efforts to bring us closer to our goal. This phase is estimated to cost $117,980. It will include the main play structure, featuring an 8-foot climbing wall, multiple slides, multiple climbing components, bumble bee spring rider and two teeter-totters, one for toddlers and one for older children. This structure will attach seamlessly to the existing obstacle course, creating a comprehensive, inclusive play area for children of all ages.

The community's support is vital to making this dream a reality. Many grants require us to show what we have already raised, so your donation directly helps us unlock additional funding.

We ask for your continued support to help us cross the finish line. Please consider making a donation or sharing this project with friends and family. Together, we can create a safe, fun, and inclusive place for our youngest citizens.
