Mayor Vacancy

The City of Priest River is currently accepting letters of interest from qualified electors for the vacant position of Mayor. The appointed person will hold the position until the next city election, when the position will be up for a 4-year term. Idaho Code 50-402(c) describes a qualified elector as a person who is at least eighteen (18) years of age, a United States citizen, who has resided in the city at least thirty (30) days, and who is registered to vote. Letters of interest should be submitted to City Clerk/Treasurer Laurel Thomas no later than 5:00 pm on November 30, 2022.
