I graduated from Newport High School in 1974 and I have lived in Priest River since 1976. I am married to my beautiful wife who was born and raised in Priest River and we will celebrate our 45th Anniversary in April. We raised two amazing daughters, Christina and Jennifer, in Priest River and Christina has blessed us with three amazing grandkids; Connor, 17, Gracie, 15, and Brooklyn, 13.
I was re-elected by our community for City Council position for 2020- 2024. I was also elected a City Council Position 1992-1996, 2004-2008, and 2008-2012, 2012-2016, and 2016-2020.
I have always been a very active member in the community. I enjoy being involved in the community and in the last 30 years I have been a member of the Lions Club, a fireman for West Pend Oreille Fire District, an EMT for Priest River Ambulance, and been a member of The West Bonner County Park Commission, a member of the Priest River Urban Renewal, a member of Priest River Planning and Zoning Board, a member of Priest River Parks and Trees Commission, and I was also a member of the Priest River Chamber of Commerce.
I truly enjoy living in our beautiful town of Priest River. I enjoy spending time with my family, camping, Side by Siding, fishing, spending time with friends and being a part of our community.
My name is Billy Mullaley, I was born and raised here in Priest River. I am married to my beautiful wife Patty Mullaley, and we have 5 children between us, Heather, Josie, Holly, Steven and Jason. plus our pup Opie.
I have been working for an Architecture firm for 24 years now. I am a Model manager/Drafter for the Engineering department. I was the Mayor of Priest River for 4 years prior to that I was on city council for 8 years. I was a volunteer Fireman for 17 years on the Priest River Volunteer Fire Department. I am a member of the Odd Fellows association Banner Lodge 67, here in Priest River. We are and organization that helps out our community.
I am on the Spokane Community College Advisory board for 22 years and have been the chairperson for the last 12 years. I also help out the Priest River Special Olympics Team, The Panthers by getting pledges for the Freezing for a Reason. Meaning I raise money then in February the team and other participants plunge ourselves into the Pend Oreille River. We have an auction afterwards which I help out by being the auctioneer. I have been doing this for 20 years now.
I am also involved in the Panhandle Blues Fest, something my wife Patty and I dreamed up and made it a reality. We put this on every year always the weekend after Labor Day. We also have a raffle at the Blues Fest. You will see me sitting in front of the Stores selling raffle tickets. We take the money from the raffle and donate it to the Priest River music department. I love hunting, hiking, 4-wheeling, dancing, riding my Harley with my friends. Working on European Buffalo Mounts and most of all spending time with family.
